Nominate a nurse by April 4 for 2022 Nursing Excellence Award

Nominate a nurse

Do you work with a nurse or caregiver on the nursing care team who consistently provides compassionate, clinically excellent care to patients every day? Take a minute to nominate a nurse for Intermountain's 2022 Nursing Excellence Award. Nominations are being accepted until Monday, April 4.

Any caregiver may nominate an RN or LPN who is in a direct patient care role. This also includes RNs working in non-patient facing roles, such as CTIS or the Central Office.

New this year, we are including a “Partners in Excellence” nomination category. This new award area recognizes the caregivers who are part of the nursing care team providing patient care, including PCTs, CNAs, MAs, and social workers.

We’re asking for nominations of nurses and caregivers who have shown extraordinary care and consistently demonstrate the Nursing Professional Practice model elements of empower, advocate, lead, innovate, and collaborate.

Stand Together. Stand Strong.

As we celebrate the 2022 accomplishments of exceptional nurses and partners in excellence, it would be impossible to do so without recognizing the care and support they have given each other during the pandemic and their extraordinary strength. This year, the Nursing Excellence Award committee has chosen the theme Stand Together. Stand Strong in order to recognize the strength of Intermountain nurses and the care they show each other.

Nominations are due by Monday, April 4, 2022. Thank you for taking the time to nominate a nurse and to celebrate the achievements and dedication of Intermountain nurses and nursing care teams.
