Enjoy a little extra pay on your November 20 paycheck

A year-end “thank you” payment will be included in eligible caregivers’ November 20 paycheck as an expression of thanks for your commitment to our patients and members.

Here’s how much caregivers will receive:

  • Caregivers who’ve worked 1,440 eligible hours or more this year will receive $450.
  • Caregivers who’ve worked between 480 and 1,439 eligible hours will receive $300.
  • Caregivers who’ve worked between 48 and 479 eligible hours will receive $150.
  • The eligible hours measurement period is through pay period 20.
  • As in previous years, caregivers in senior leadership positions aren’t eligible for this added payment.

You can review the amount of thank-you pay you’ll receive based on your hours worked by viewing the thank-you pay portal. You must be logged on to Intermountain’s secure network to view the portal, using either Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Any additional questions can be directed to our Ask HR team at 801-442-7547.

CEO Marc Harrison, MD, says, “Each year, and especially this year, we’re grateful when we can provide thank-you pay to caregivers. 2020 has been challenging for all of us—personally and professionally. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit earlier this year, we weren’t sure if we would be able to offer thank-you pay in November. However, in the face of adversity, caregivers have risen to the challenge. Because of our collective work, we’re able to offer thank-you pay to caregivers this year—while continuing to deliver on our promise to help lower the cost of healthcare for the people and communities we serve.”

A new program will replace the thank-you payment starting in January 2021. In the program, caregivers at all levels of the organization will be eligible for annual incentive payments based on Intermountain’s overall performance in our Fundamentals: safety, quality, equity, experience, access, and engagement. More information about this new program will be shared in January.

“Thank you for all you continue to do for our patients, members, and each other,” says Marc. “We hope this thank-you payment will make your holidays brighter.”
