One to wear, one to share: Watch for two Cotopaxi face masks in your mailbox

Intermountain has partnered with Cotopaxi, the Utah outdoor gear company that provided our backpacks for Caregiver Appreciation Week in 2019, to provide each caregiver with two Teca Cotton face masks—one to wear and one to share—in recognition of ongoing COVID-19 efforts. The cloth mask is lightweight, fully reversible, and made from repurposed brightly colored Cotopaxi fabric. Masks will be sent to caregiver homes starting this week.

Here's what you need to know about the masks:

  • Face mask packages started being distributed on Monday, December 21.
  • The face masks are being mailed to your address on file in Workday.
  • Face masks are being mailed via USPS. Estimated delivery time is within five business days, but because of increased holiday volumes, it may take longer to receive the masks.
  • Packages with no forwarding address or that are unable to be delivered will be returned to Cotopaxi. These packages will be collected by the Caregiver Experience team in late January to assess where they need to go.
  • If you don’t receive your masks by Friday, January 22, contact Ask HR for tracking. Please don’t contact Ask HR before January 22.
  • Once you receive your masks, you’re invited to share on Yammer a selfie of you wearing it alongside whoever you gave the second mask to.

“Thank you for continuing to mask up inside and outside of work to help slow the spread of COVID-19,” says Intermountain’s Executive Leadership Team. “The exceptional care and service you provide every day is very much appreciated.”
