Teleworking has been an important part of how Intermountain caregivers have been keeping themselves and each other safe. As we look toward a future that includes teleworking even after the danger of COVID-19 is over, Intermountain wants to help remote caregivers have the best possible experience working from home.

The Learning Network will be hosting an online TeleTalks series through Webex, beginning with a kickoff presentation from Heather Brace on Wednesday, January 13, about the future of telework at Intermountain. TeleTalks will be an opportunity for remote caregivers to learn about topics relevant to working from home, connect with each other, share best practices, and ask questions. TeleTalks will be held on the first and third Wednesday of every month and will be about 25 minutes long.

“Teleworking has been incredibly successful, thanks to caregivers’ creativity and adaptability,” says Tammy Bigelow, career and talent management director. “Survey results indicate caregivers overall enjoy working from home, but there’s room to improve. The TeleTalks series is another tool to help teleworkers optimize their experience and career growth.”
