Sign up to help at community vaccination clinics

Intermountain is offering COVID-19 community vaccine clinics this month to support the Utah Department of Health’s efforts to vaccinate eligible Utahns. You’re invited to sign up for shifts at the clinics to help your neighbors, bring an end to the pandemic, and to meet your budgeted hours. The clinics are planned for the following hospitals, although they’re subject to change based on vaccine availability:

  • Logan Regional Hospital
  • McKay-Dee Hospital
  • Park City Hospital
  • TOSH
  • Riverton Hospital
  • Utah Valley Hospital
  • St. George Regional Hospital

Shifts at the vaccination clinics should be filled primarily by caregivers who need to get to their budgeted hours. However, there will be a need for many caregivers to go beyond their normal schedule to help. In those cases, non-exempt caregivers will be eligible for overtime. Please get approval from your manager before signing up for a shift that would put you into overtime, and ensure your home unit’s staffing needs are covered first.

NOTE: Because of possible vaccine supply variations, vaccine clinics might experience changes or cancellations. If that happens, an email notification will automatically be sent to caregivers scheduled for affected shifts and they’ll be invited to sign up for other opportunities. Please check your email frequently if you’ve registered for an upcoming clinic shift so you’re aware of last-minute changes.

  • Non-exempt (hourly) caregivers should clock in and out at a time clock for their vaccination shift. Exempt (salary) caregivers shouldn’t clock in or out for their shift.

To learn more about signing up for a shift, please contact Ask HR at 801-442-7547, askhr@imail.org, or intermountain.net/askhr.
