Intermountain will transition almost all community COVID-19 testing sites to a self-serve testing model in the coming weeks. Self-serve COVID-19 testing has been piloted over the last month at six locations and found to be effective. Sites will start transitioning on Thursday, April 1.

The timeline of the transition:

  • April 1: Cassia, Bear River, Cedar City, Heber, Layton, North Cache, North Ogden, River Road, and Sevier Valley testing locations will all move to self-serve. Two new locations, Hurricane and Sunset, will also begin offering self-serve testing.
  • April 4: The Park City testing site will transition to self-serve.
  • April 14:The American Fork Hospital, Salt Lake InstaCare, and Southridge InstaCare locations will all transition to self-serve.
  • April 15: The Tooele InstaCare testing site will close.
