Intermountain has been named to the Women Tech Council (WTC) 2021 Shatter List, an annual collection of top Utah companies creating inclusive, empowering cultures for female workers. Intermountain has been named an honoree every year since the list’s inception in 2018.

Intermountain and 41 other local organizations made the list for implementing holistic, organization-wide practices to create atmospheres where women can contribute and succeed. Intermountain is the only healthcare system included among 2021 honorees. See the full list of recipients here.

“By measuring the practices and policies organizations are using to create real impact for women in tech, the Shatter List amplifies these efforts and gives even more momentum to women in tech,” says Cydni Tetro, president of WTC. “When implemented across entire organizations, these holistic measures for creating gender-inclusive environments and teams make impact for employees throughout the company and in the larger tech community by helping advance women across the entire sector.”

The Shatter List honors to local businesses that are accelerating removal of the glass ceiling, the intangible barrier preventing women or minorities from obtaining upper-level positions. The list is compiled by scoring companies in four areas: executive engagement, company programming, community investment, and availability of women’s or diversity & inclusion groups.
