A great way to plan ahead for the ones you care about is to make sure your beneficiary information is up to date. Caregivers missing beneficiaries will soon begin receiving emails from our benefits partner, The Hartford, with instructions on how to add or update your beneficiary information.

Why is this important?

Having up-to-date beneficiary designations will help ensure prompt payment of benefits. As an Intermountain caregiver, you have at least one policy with The Hartford—and probably more.

  • All caregivers have Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage paid for by Intermountain.
  • All benefits-eligible caregivers have Basic Life coverage paid for by Intermountain.
  • You may have also elected optional life/AD&D coverage, including Hospital and Accident coverage, which were newly added for 2021.

You can get started on the process now by downloading instructions on how to update your beneficiary information with The Hartford quickly and easily online or over the phone at 855-EZ-NROLL (855-396-7655). Be prepared with your beneficiary information, like your name, address, and Social Security Number if possible.
