All caregivers are invited to join one of the Intermountain teams participating in this year’s Heart & Stroke Walk on Saturday, September 18, at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City. Each participant that joins an Intermountain team by Tuesday, August 31, will be guaranteed a free team t-shirt at the event. Team t-shirts can’t be guaranteed if you sign up after September 1, but some extra shirts will be printed.
Here’s how to register at no cost:
- Visit the Heart & Stroke Walk website
- Click on “Join a Team”
- Follow the prompts to create your account
- Select one of the existing teams under Intermountain Healthcare
- Complete your registration
- Participants can also create their own team—just be sure your team is associated with the Intermountain Healthcare company and each person is registered by August 31 for a free team t-shirt.
Why join? Heart disease and stroke affect one in three adults—including a lot of people in our community. As a Heart & Stroke Walk participant, you’ll join others in our community seeking to support heart health and prevent strokes.
