August KPIs show 103% overall achievement

Aug KPI BN

August’s Intermountain Monthly Performance dashboard is now available and illustrates an overall achievement score of 103% on Intermountain’s 11 Board-reported key performance indicators (KPIs). The overall system KPI percentage attained at the end of the year will determine how much you receive as a caregiver incentive payment in spring 2022.

“August’s attainment of 103% is a 15% improvement in system performance over the previous month,” says Rob Allen, senior vice president and chief operating officer. “This reflects a tremendous effort by everyone across the system working together on our highest priorities. Thank you, on behalf of the Executive Leadership Team, for working with your team to make progress on achieving our system goals.”

As we enter the final quarter of 2021, there’s still time for caregivers—like you—to earn an even larger incentive payment. The caregiver incentive plan encourages you to take ownership in driving team and department success and get rewarded monetarily for your efforts. We each play an important role in Intermountain’s success and what you do everyday matters. The higher the overall percentage attained, the larger the incentive payment caregivers—both part-time and full-time—will receive next spring.

  • With July’s score of 88%, full-time caregivers would have received $396, and part-time caregivers would have received $198.
  • Now, at 103%, the monetary payout has increased to $463 for full-time caregivers and $231.75 for part-time caregivers.
  • You can review the full payout scale here.
  • Remember, there will be no thank-you payment for caregivers in November. The 2021 caregiver incentive plan payment will be paid out to eligible caregivers in spring 2022 after approval from the Intermountain Board of Trustees.

The greatest opportunity for improvement is in the Experience: Likelihood to Recommend KPI, which is performing below the entry target. The Likelihood to Recommend KPI tells us how much our patients trust the care we provide them. This information is collected from patient surveys across care settings. With every touch point, we have an opportunity to impact patient experience, from non-clinical to clinical roles. The Park City Hospital emergency department team has maintained a 95th percentile score for LTR throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Read their story to learn what actions they’re taking to keep the likelihood to recommend score front of mind and how you can too. You can make it your goal to improve patient satisfaction and feedback.

Please meet with your leader during your next check-in to discuss how, with your team, you can contribute to the success of the organization and your team, and deliver on our mission to serve our communities.
