For the fourth consecutive year, Intermountain’s Supply Chain Organization has been recognized as a “Master” supply chain organization by Gartner, a national consulting organization. This designation, also awarded to the Mayo Clinic, is evidence of Intermountain’s continued commitment to service excellence, cost reduction, innovation, and clinical integration. Gartner highlighted the Supply Chain Organization’s resiliency and specifically praised their completion of the sale of Intalere to Vizient, robotic process optimization, cold chain operations, and a supplier risk strategy.

“Our supply chain team has faced a historic global disruption with the creativity and urgency required to help keep our caregivers safe and our patients and communities cared for,” says Intermountain CEO Marc Harrison, MD. “I’m not surprised their terrific work has been recognized yet again by Gartner as it has not gone unnoticed by our entire team. They’ve earned our congratulations and, moreover, our deep gratitude for all they do every day.” See the full rankings.
