Pam SB

Pamela Moore, RN

Cheers and farewell to Pamela Moore, RN, who retired on December 31 after a 45-year career with Intermountain. Pam started as a critical care nurse at Primary Children’s Hospital and joined the Life Flight team just after the program was created in 1978. She served in various leadership roles over the years, most recently as the executive director of Life Flight since May 2014.

“During her tenure, Pam was instrumental to Life Flight’s amazing growth and tremendous success,” says Eric Liston, Intermountain Telehealth administrator. “With her retirement, we’ve not only lost a great leader, but a dear friend and respected pioneer in the medical air transport industry. Over the years, Pam formed and led high-performing teams that developed too many programs to mention. Under her leadership, Life Flight has grown to be one of the most comprehensive and respected air medical transport programs in the country with the ability to transfer the most critically ill patients across the globe.”

Tammy Bleak, RN, Life Flight nurse director, and Kent Johnson, Life Flight aviation operations director will serve as interim codirectors of Life Flight for the near future.
