Intermountain cafés will now be able to sell gift cards, and accept Google Pay and Apply Pay. They’re also launching a new badge-pay program that will let you pay using payroll deduction.
Payroll deduction will replace the current badge-pay program. Instead of your badge being connected to a credit card, you’ll be able to scan your badge and have the charges deducted from your take-home pay each pay period. The maximum amount you can deduct from your payroll for each pay period is $150. You can pick up a payroll deduct application at any Intermountain café register to sign up. If your badge is connected to a credit or debit card, it will no longer work after the go-live date.
