Intermountain is an ardent supporter of the Clark County Medical Society Alliance (CCMSA) in Nevada and its many charitable efforts and events. This includes supporting both their recent Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser and the Holiday Scholarship Project. Here are details about both events:

Intermountain was the primary sponsor of the CCMSA 21st Annual Fashion Show. This sold out charity fundraiser was hosted at the Four Seasons Resort in Las Vegas on March 11 and featured a gourmet luncheon and fashion show. Proceeds from the event benefited homeless teens through Project 150. Ama Brobbey, MD, chief medical officer for Intermountain in Nevada, was the presenting speaker. She talked about her personal experience assisting homeless teenagers in Nevada, as well as the work Intermountain is doing to make certain everyone in Nevada—including youth—are living their healthiest lives possible.

CCMSA’s Holiday Scholarship Project (HSP) was established in 1949 to attract and retain nursing and medical students in Clark County, Nevada, a chronic and critical need. The program is supported in part by endowments from local companies, including Intermountain, and has helped many Nevada clinicians get started in their careers. Intermountain’s own Jody Frey-Burns, RN, was invited to share her Intermountain nursing journey and bestowed HSP scholarships to nine deserving nursing students. She says efforts like these are critical to investing in tomorrow's medical system.
