Participate in the Caregiver Experience Pulse Survey May 5-19

Pulse survey art sized for Caregiver News
Caregivers are asked to complete a pulse survey between May 5 and 19.

You’re invited to share your voice by participating in a pulse survey available Thursday, May 5, through Thursday, May 19. A pulse survey is a shortened version of our annual Caregiver Experience Survey, administered by Press Ganey—it’s only 30 questions—and will cover topics related to the team index, leader index, engagement index, decompression, and safety culture.

“Many leaders have requested more caregiver feedback to allow teams to do a self-assessment on progress of improvement plans developed after the fall 2021 survey,” says Heather Brace, chief people officer. “So, we decided to do a pulse survey to see how we’re doing at this midpoint. This is an opportunity to reflect on improvements your team has made so far, provide feedback about those changes, and share where there are still opportunities, before the fall 2022 Caregiver Experience Survey.”

Fast facts about the Caregiver Experience Pulse Survey:

  • Available May 5-19.
  • Includes 30 questions and takes about five minutes to complete.
  • Can be completed on a computer or mobile device.
  • Caregivers hired prior to February 1, 2022 are eligible to take the survey.
  • Eligible caregivers will receive a survey invite in their Intermountain email from Press Ganey on Thursday, May 5.
  •  Answers are confidential and only aggregated data will be provided back to the organization.
  • Caregivers and affiliated physicians/APPs from the legacy SCL Health organization aren’t included in the scope of this survey.

Your leader will share results of the survey with you in early June. Based on the results, you and your team will work with your leader to update action plans on items you want to see changed or improved.

If you have questions about the survey, please talk to your leader. You can contact Ask HR with additional questions at 801-442-7547 or askhr@imail.org.
