New patient education tool coming soon

Patient education sized for Caregiver News
A new improved system for providing patient education is coming.

Intermountain is launching an improved system for providing patient education this summer. It has been delayed from the earlier anticipated implementation of May to ensure the best experience possible for caregivers and patients.

Beta testers have been identified to pilot the new system and will receive an invitation to a 30-minute webinar training in the coming weeks. After pilot testing is complete and final tweaks are made to the system, all users will be able to view the recorded training and begin using the new resources.  Updates on testing, training, and support will be announced in the following weeks.

In June, selected caregivers will begin beta testing a new iCentra interface with the new tool. The new “EmmiEducate” program will provide many benefits to caregivers and patients, including in-depth content presented in more formats and languages, all accessible via a smarter set of digital tools. The changes will create more consistency in patient education and help Intermountain meet the growing demand for more content.
