Sixteen Intermountain hospitals earned an "A" grade from Leapfrog.

Sixteen Intermountain hospitals have received an “A” grade in the spring 2022 Leapfrog Hospital Safety grades. This national distinction recognizes a health system’s commitment to patient safety and achievements in preventing harm.

The Leapfrog Group, an independent national watchdog organization, assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D,” or “F” grade to hospitals across the nation based on more than 30 performance measures reflecting each facility’s adherence to safety best practices, safety leadership, medication error prevention, injury prevention, positive patient experience, and safety event prevention. Not all hospitals receive grades because of specific volume criteria or specialty hospital status.
