Caregivers will be able to print checklists to review
before, during, and after iCentra is down on October 8.
A three-hour full iCentra downtime is planned for Saturday, October 8, from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. MST to support an upgrade to the Oracle database, which will improve performance and support future growth. iCentra will be unavailable during this downtime. Caregivers will rely on iCentra read-only downtime viewers and downtime stand-alone devices to access patient data.
Units should prepare by working with their department and shared leaders to:
- Inform caregivers of the upcoming downtime.
- Ensure that caregivers know where downtime materials are located on the unit.
- Ensure that sufficient quantities of the correct forms are available.
- Order any needed forms in advance from the Intermountain Print It site.
- Pre-print Downtime PowerPlans and add them to kits to make the paper ordering of common plans easier.
Refer to the iCentra Downtime site for the most up-to-date information to prepare for, document during, and recover from downtime.
