Visiting Hours

Visitors are always welcome on the Acute Rehab unit, but we ask visitors not to interfere with patients' scheduled therapy time. Often we may encourage family members and caregivers to attend therapy sessions with patients because this can be a great opportunity for us to teach you how to best care for your loved one when they go home. This may also provide an opportunity for patients to display their progress.

We ask that visitors during therapy be limited to those who will be involved in caring for the patient. Others can visit Monday – Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Please do not visit the hospital if you are sick. Visits by children to Dixie Regional Medical Center and to this unit may be restricted depending on the season. Please check with unit staff before bringing children to visit.

Visits from pets

Patients may be able have pets brought in to visit. Please talk to the nurse or therapist for help making arrangements. The allergies and needs of other patients will be considered.

Phone calls and mail

You can call a patient's room directly by dialing (435) 251-1 (room #). For example, for room #501 the phone number would be (435) 251-1501, or for room 515 the number would be (435) 251-1515.

Please do not call during scheduled therapy times. Patients are welcome to bring a cellphone, but we ask that the phone be left in the patient's room during therapy.
