Intermountain has again been ranked as one of the nation's top integrated health systems, receiving the fifth highest score in an annual study of healthcare organizations.
The ranking was announced in this week's issue of Modern Healthcare magazine. The study was conducted by SDI, a Pennsylvania-based health information company, and examined more than 500 health systems around the nation. The annual list rates local and regional healthcare systems on factors such as clinical quality, operations, efficiency, and breadth of services.
Intermountain has rated in the top five for 11 straight years.
