Texas Roadhouse proceeds benefit Cancer Center March 9

The Logan Texas Roadhouse restaurant is partnering with the Logan Regional Hospital Foundation to donate 10 percent of proceeds from restaurant patrons the night of Tuesday, March 9, from 4:30 to 10 p.m., to the Logan Regional Hospital Cancer Center.

Money raised will be donated through the Logan Regional Hospital Foundation to benefit cancer services provided to patients at the Logan Regional Hospital Cancer Center. The donation applies to purchases made at Texas Roadhouse March 9 by all patrons presenting a coupon, available that evening from restaurant employees or a Logan Regional Hospital Foundation representative at the restaurant.

The Logan Regional Hospital Cancer Center opened in summer 2008 and has provided thousands of radiation-therapy treatments to local cancer patients. In addition to state-of-the-art radiation therapy, the Cancer Center provides access to a spectrum of cancer services, including chemotherapy, brachytherapy, surgery, the latest clinical trials, and a Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Education Center. The medical oncology (chemotherapy) office of Ali Ben-Jacob, M.D., is also housed in the Cancer Center.

“We appreciate the support of Texas Roadhouse and the ongoing support of our community for our Cancer Center,” said Bob Cash, Logan Regional Hospital CEO. “We are pleased that hundreds of cancer patients have been able to stay close to home for world-class radiation therapy treatment.”
