Promotion for the Logan InstaCare

When you have an urgent care need and can't get in to see your doctor, are from out of town or don’t have a doctor, you are welcome at the Logan InstaCare!

Logan InstaCare is a walk-in clinic, conveniently open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Two board-certified physicians are always scheduled to care for patients. State of the art x-ray equipment and a variety of laboratory services are available to assist the physicians in diagnosing the patient.

The Logan InstaCare (an urgent care clinic) opened in July of 2003 and has been a great asset to Logan and the surrounding communities of Northeast Utah and Idaho. Currently the InstaCare is located in the Intermountain Logan Clinic at 412 North 200 East. This beautiful, modern, facility was built just two years ago. It was specifically designed for the InstaCare to provide efficient delivery of urgent medical care and to optimize patient comfort. Patient care is provided in five patient exam rooms, two dedicated procedure rooms, an orthopedic (bone injury) room, an ophthalmology (eye) room, and a room dedicated to stabilize patients who need to be transferred to the hospital for further care.

The facility is in and of itself impressive, and what really makes the Logan InstaCare a great place to go for treatment is the staff. Everyone is friendly, efficient, compassionate, and well-trained in their respective roles. They work hard to treat a high volume of people presenting for a wide variety of concerns. Each staff member earnestly strives to deliver quality care in a timely and empathetic manner.

People seek care at the InstaCare for a variety of reasons. The following is a list of many of the services we provide:

• Drainage of infected wounds
• Ear infections
• Eye infections

• Ingrown toenails, nail injuries
• Joint sprains
• Lacerations (cuts)
• Non-life threatening injuries and illnesses
• Nose bleeds
• Pneumonia
• Removal of foreign bodies
• Stomach flu
• Strep throat
• Upper respiratory infections (common colds and flu)
• Urinary tract (bladder) infections
• And much more!

InstaCare clinics do not offer Emergency Room services. It is NOT appropriate to come to the InstaCare for:
• Chest pain
• Confusion or mental status changes
• Joint dislocations (with few exceptions such as nursemaids elbow or finger)
• Major head or eye injuries
• Major trauma
• Obvious fractures with significant visible abnormalities
• Open fractures (those sticking through the skin)
• Severe abdominal pain
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Significant bleeding
• Signs of stroke, anaphylaxis or any life threatening emergency
• The worst headache of your life
• It is also NOT appropriate to come in for treatment of chronic pain
