Introducing Dr. Aarush Manchanda

We are proud to introduce Dr. Aarush Manchanda, Cedar City's first full-time cardiologist. In 2003, Dr. Manchanda earned a Bachelor in Medicine & Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS) degree at the University of Delhi in India. In the same year, he conducted research on controlling tuberculosis and also served as a data analyst for the Indian government's Mother and Child health program.

In 2004, Dr. Manchanda immigrated to the United States to fulfill a residency in internal medicine at George Washington University in Washington, DC. During this time, he completed visiting fellowships at both the Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center and the Washington Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center in the nation's capital. He also spent a month in Australia as Visiting Medical Officer for the Department of Cardiology at Royal Brisbane Hospital. After his residency, Dr. Manchanda completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania and was chosen as Chief Fellow. The medical center presented him with the Best Resident Research Award for both 2008 and 2009.

Board certified, Dr. Manchanda is a member of numerous medical societies, including the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. He has published widely and is particularly well-trained in nuclear cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, and preventive cardiology.
