Introducing Dr. Brad Goates

Dr. Brad Goates recently joined the Logan Clinic, providing family medicine care. Dr. Goates holds a master's degree in Biology from the University of Utah, where he also completed his medical degree. While in medical school, he was a research assistant for the university's Department of Biology and founded the Medical Research Interest Group.

Dr. Goates recently completed the Ball Memorial Family Medicine Residency in Muncie, Indiana, where he gained experience in urgent care and after-hours clinics and was chosen as Chief Resident. During this time, he gave talks at local elementary schools on physical maturation and the dangers of smoking. Dr. Goates also served for several years on the hospital's Scholarly Activity Committee, co-chaired the residency's Curriculum Committee, and presided over the Resident Council. His primary medical interests include preventive care, urgent care, and evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Goates enjoys waterskiing, golf, card games, and visiting water parks with his wife and their two young daughters.
