Pertussis "Whooping Cough" Outbreak

Currently there is a Pertussis "Whooping Cough" outbreak in California, so it is more important than usual to protect your family from this illness. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends all adults over age 19 have a one-time Tdap substituted for the Td, which is boosted every 10 years.

Redrock Pediatrics has the Tdap Vaccine available for adults. If you would like to schedule a shot appointment please call our office at 251-2740. Our local Health Department has also received some Tdap (from a grant) for uninsured/underinsured patients age 19-64 years, which will be administered at no charge to the patient.
