Two New Providers Starting August 2010

Intermountain Wasatch OB/GYN welcomes two new providers starting August 2010: Lindsey Deschamps, MD and Pegah Dixon, WHNP. They are now accepting patients. For appointments, call 801-387-8350.

Lindsey Deschamps, MD

Dr. Deschamps is originally from Maryland and graduated from Pennsylvania State University. She attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, and then completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. During her residency, Dr. Deschamps received numerous teaching awards and was recognized for her research on obesity and its effects on pregnancy. She enjoys jogging, watching college football, and hiking with her husband, Paul.

Pegah Dixon, WHNP

Pegah Dixon is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Dixon received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Utah. She thoroughly enjoys her profession and takes pride in providing care and health education to women of all ages. She recently spent time providing free OB/GYN care to women in rural Northern India, an experience she feels lucky to have had.

In her spare time, Dixon enjoys skiing, hiking, playing tennis and spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. She is an avid traveler and has been to fourteen countries in Europe and Asia, but always looks forward to returning home to beautiful Utah.
