Introducing Craig M. Moffat, MD

Dr. Craig Moffat now practices allergy and immunology at the Sandy Clinic, filling the role of departing physician Dr. Marcia Muggelberg. A long-time Intermountain employee, Dr. Moffat has returned from Seattle, Washington, where he served a three-year assignment on behalf of his church.

Dr. Moffat earned his medical degree in 1975 from the University of Utah. He fulfilled an internship and residency in internal medicine at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Moffat then moved to New Haven, Connecticut to complete a fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at Yale University. In 1982, he returned to Utah and began practicing at Primary Children’s Medical Center and LDS Hospital’s Department of Internal Medicine while also serving as a consultant at Salt Lake Clinic. Dr. Moffat continued in these positions until 2007.

Dr. Moffat spent many years in the US Army Reserve and reached the rank of Colonel. Dr. Moffat has published widely and performed many visiting professorships and lectures. His topics of expertise include allergic rhinitis, severe asthma, and immunodeficiency workups. Dr. Moffat is board certified in allergy and immunology as well as internal medicine.

Dr. Moffat, a highly experienced doctor, now practices allergy and immunology at Sandy Clinic.
