Introducing Joseph E. Hansler, MD

We welcome Dr. Joseph Hansler to Northern Utah Surgeons. Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Hansler earned his medical degree at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He then completed a general surgery residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where he was designated as administrative chief resident.

Dr. Hansler is the recipient of several awards and has served as treasurer for the Student Association for Rural Health. During his stay in Nebraska, he volunteered at the Good Life Diabetes Clinic and at another free clinic for low-income members of the community. An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Hansler’s favorite hobbies are hunting, fly fishing, skiing, and gardening.
