Introducing Kelly (Trey) O’Neal, III, MD, MS

We’re pleased to announce that Dr. Trey O’Neal has joined the Utah Heart Clinic. Dr. O’Neal earned a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Oregon before completing his medical degree at the University of Mississippi in Jackson. Moving to Salt Lake City, he fulfilled an internal medicine residency followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of Utah. Dr. O’Neal then completed an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology at St. Luke’s Hospital, in association with the Mid America Heart Institute and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Dr. O’Neal is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. The author of many book chapters, he has also given presentations on vascular biology and vein graft intervention.

Dr. O’Neal has previously volunteered as a crisis counselor and rock climbing instructor, and he currently enjoys mountain biking and running marathons.
