Introducing Marie Shelton, DO

The Central Orem Clinic welcomes Dr. Marie Shelton, a family medicine physician. Dr. Shelton began her post-undergraduate medical training researching malaria as a research/laboratory assistant at the Brigham Young University Parasitology Laboratory. She then pursued her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. After medical school, Dr. Shelton remained in Illinois to complete the Hinsdale Family Medicine residency at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.

Dr. Shelton has served on the Public Health Committee of the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians and has provided free healthcare for the homeless at the REST Clinic in Chicago. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
