Introducing Jaime Molden, MD

Southwest Cardiology is pleased to introduce Dr. Jaime Molden, a highly knowledgeable electrophysiology doctor who recently joined our team. After earning his undergraduate degree, Dr. Molden began laboratory work with the Gladstone Institute of Virology/UCSF in San Francisco, California. In 2002, Dr. Molden earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine, where he had won the Dylan Award in Medical Ethics. Returning to California, Dr. Molden completed both an internship and residency in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance. He then began work as a hospitalist with Kaiser Permanente Southern California in Los Angeles. In 2009, Dr. Molden completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, during which time he also served as a clinical instructor. Dr. Molden then completed the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Program at Los Angeles’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Molden has authored numerous publications, most recently in the Journal of Invasive Cardiology. He is board certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular disease.
