Intermountain named one of nation's top health systems

Intermountain Healthcare has again been ranked as the one of the nation's top integrated health systems, receiving the fourth highest score in an annual study of healthcare organizations, and the highest score of any health system in the western U.S.

The ranking was announced in this week's issue of Modern Healthcare magazine. The study was conducted by SDI, a Pennsylvania-based health information company, and examined 133 health systems around the nation. The annual list rates local and regional healthcare systems on factors such as clinical quality, operations, efficiency, and breadth of services.

Intermountain has rated in the top five nationally for 12 straight years.
