Introducing April A. Larson, MD

Dixie Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in St. George is pleased to welcome Dr. April Larson, a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Larson earned her medical degree at the University of Utah. She completed a research fellowship in Melanoma and Cutaneous Oncology at Huntsman Cancer Institute under the direction of Dr. Sancy Leachman. Dr. Larson then completed an Internal Medicine internship at the University of Utah. She spent four years at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire—three years as a resident in dermatology and a fourth year as a staff dermatologist teaching medical students and residents.

Dr. Larson is a general dermatologist and enjoys all aspects of dermatology practice, including pediatrics, cosmetics, medical dermatology, and skin cancer. Dr. Larson and her husband, Josh, have three children. Her hobbies include spending time with family, reading, rock climbing, and snowboarding.
