Scott G. Newbold, DO

Sunset Clinic is proud to welcome Dr. Scott G. Newbold, a licensed and board-certified St. George pediatrician. Dr. Newbold comes to Sunset Clinic from Valley View Medical Center, where he served as Nursery Director. Prior to that, he worked as a pediatrician at Premier Pediatrics, a full-scope pediatric practice in Cedar City.

After earning his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Newbold completed his residency in categorical pediatrics at the University of California, in San Francisco. During his residency, his peers recognized him with the “most loved by patients” award and he was honored for having the highest continuity rate among patient visits.

Dr. Newbold’s specific interests within pediatrics include: obesity prevention and treatment, cardiology, neonatology, asthma and acute care. Outside of pediatrics, he values spending time with his wife and three daughters.
