Intermountain Healthcare recipient of 100 Best Places to Work in IT

For the fourth consecutive year, Intermountain Healthcare has been selected by Computerworld magazine as one of the top workplaces for information technology (IT) professionals. This honor is part of the IT publication's annual Best Places to Work in IT survey, which was published in a recent issue of Computerworld and is available online at Computerworld.com.

Intermountain, the only organization in Utah named in the survey, is a recognized national leader in creating and using medical information technology to improve patient care. Overall, Intermountain ranks 48th, up from 51st in its ranking in 2010.

In addition to its analysis of companies' benefits, career development opportunities, and other offerings, the Computerworld survey includes feedback from IT workers, whose responses factor heavily in the rankings.

A nonprofit healthcare system serving Utah and southeastern Idaho residents, Intermountain Healthcare is recognized worldwide for its advanced clinical computer systems, which identify best practices to improve clinical quality, keep costs lower, and reduce medical errors.
