Dr. Trisha Rafferty

Northern Utah Pediatrics is pleased to welcome a new pediatrician, Dr. Trisha Rafferty. Dr. Rafferty, who was born and raised in Kearns, Utah, earned her MD at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. In addition to her medical school training, she spent a month in China studying traditional Chinese medicine.

Dr. Rafferty completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Arizona, where she worked on a project aimed at decreasing childhood obesity. While there Dr. Rafferty also served as the resident representative for the American Academy of Pediatrics and was trained by world experts in asthma management. She continues to be interested in decreasing childhood obesity, and enjoys working with children who suffer from asthma.

Dr. Rafferty is thrilled to be returning home to her native Utah. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling. She and her family are looking forward to establishing their new home in the Ogden area.
