Richard Cannon, MD

After more than 20 years of practicing endocrinology and internal medicine at the Salt Lake Clinic, Dr. Richard Cannon is relocating to the Sandy Clinic. Dr. Cannon is board-certified in both endocrinology and internal medicine. He has served as the Director of Outpatient Clinics at LDS Hospital, and as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Dr. Cannon earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine, and fulfilled an internship at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. He completed an internal medicine residency at Northwestern Affiliated Hospitals in Chicago before returning to his hometown of Salt Lake City for an endocrinology fellowship at LDS Hospital.

Dr. Cannon is board certified in both endocrinology and internal medicine.
