Groundbreaking: Intermountain Rose Canyon Clinic

The Intermountain Medical Group is excited to announce their newest clinic, the Intermountain Rose Canyon Clinic opening fall 2012. This facility will be located at 5541 West 13400 South in Riverton. With approximately 11,500 square feet, this clinic will offer Family Medicine and Physical Therapy as well as lab and X-ray services.

The groundbreaking ceremony for this event was held Monday, December 12, 2011. Mayor Josh Mills of Herriman and Mayor Bill Applegarth of Riverton attended the event along with several city council members, community leaders, and local business leaders. “There’s nothing more important to a city than quality health,” said Mayor Applegarth. “Thank you Intermountain for coming.”

Dr. Brian C. Hancey and Dr. Doug Esplin will offer Family Medicine services when the Rose Canyon Clinic opens in Fall 2012. Dr. Brian Hancey is board-certified and currently accepting new patients at the nearby Southridge Clinic just inside Riverton Hospital. Dr. Douglas N. Esplin is board-certified and will be joining the community from Cache Valley.

The Intermountain Medical Group is part of Intermountain Healthcare, a nonprofit health system based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Medical Group brings together multi-specialty physicians and clinicians employed at physician clinics, as well as urgent care clinics such as InstaCare and KidsCare, and WorkMed occupational health clinics throughout Utah.

​Groundbreaking for the Intermountain Rose Canyon Clinic was held December 12, 2011. It will officially open sometime in Fall 2012.
