Orlando Valdez, MD

The Kearns Clinic is thrilled to introduce Dr. Orlando Valdez, board-certified and licensed pediatrician with 15 years experience. Dr. Valdez earned his medical degree at the University of California in San Francisco. He then completed a pediatric residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center, where he received the Pediatric Practice award and the Residency Teaching award.

Dr. Valdez has served as a primary care pediatrician at the Spanish Fork Clinic with Canyon View Medical Group; and as an attending pediatrician at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Mountain View Hospital.

Dr. Valdez speaks Spanish and has a special interest in acute care for childhood illnesses, healthy lifestyle counseling, childhood obesity and Type 2 diabetes management, as well as caring for children with long-term disabilities and chronic illnesses.
