Charles Mallender, MD

Heart Rhythm Specialists welcomes Dr. Charles Mallender, a board-certified internal medicine doctor with more than 20 years of experience.

Dr. Mallender earned his medical degree at Indiana University and completed an internship and residency at LDS Hospital. He served in Emergency Physician Integrated Care as an attending physician and as a medical director at Salt Lake Regional Hospital; he traveled to Guatemala as an instructor and part of the medical staff at Ixmucane Clinic in Antigua; and most recently he cared for internal medicine patients at Granger Medical Clinic in West Valley City, Utah.

Dr. Mallender has experience as a Locum Tenes Emergency Physician with Comprehensive Health Systems Inc., treating patients in Riverton Memorial Hospital, in Riverton, Wyo. and Northern Navajo Medical Center, in Shiprock, N.M. Dr. Mallendar speaks Spanish proficiently, and is a member of Utah Medical Association and the American College of Emergency Medicine.
