Dr. M. Heather Gilbert

Southwest Regional Cancer Clinic is pleased to introduce the newest member of our team of cancer doctors. Dr. Heather Gilbert completed her medical degree, Internal Medicine residency, and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Utah. 

The recipient of many awards, Dr. Gilbert earned a T32 Training Grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH). In 2008, she participated in the American Society of Hematology’s Clinical Research Training Institute. Dr. Gilbert spent several years as an Assistant Professor at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where she taught benign and malignant hematology. 

Dr. Gilbert is board certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine.
