Congratulations to Dr. Gorang and our staff members for earning a 2011 Excellence in Healthcare Award in the category of "Customer Service for Family Practice". The Excellence in Healthcare Award is given annually by SelectHealth to recognize doctors and clinics for providing exemplary care to their patients.
Our clinic is one of almost two dozen Intermountain Healthcare clinics in the Salt Lake City area that received a Excellence in Healthcare Award for 2011.
Awards are given in the "Customer Service for Family Practice" category to clinics that have rates in the top ten percent or have met the designated benchmark of excellence below:
- Having at least 30 SelectHealth patients who responded to the standardized patient percention of quality survey
- 64% or higher of respondents answering "excellent" to the survey question, "How would you rate your experience with this visit?"
