Intermountain named one of nation's top health systems

Intermountain Healthcare has again been ranked as one of the nation's top integrated health systems. It received the third highest score in an annual study of healthcare organizations and the highest score of any health system in the western United States.

The ranking was announced in a recent issue of Modern Healthcare magazine. The study was conducted by IMS Health, a Connecticut-based health information company, and examined hundreds of health systems around the nation. The annual list rates local and regional healthcare systems on factors such as clinical quality, operations, efficiency, and breadth of services.

Intermountain has rated in the top five for 13 straight years.
