News Advisory

WHAT:
A transplant nurse at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray this week went above and beyond the call of duty when she herself became a donor for an ailing neighbor.  The nurse and her neighbor are both doing well after the transplant surgery and will be available for interviews to share their unique experience. The two are neighbors in the Daybreak community in South Jordan.  The nurse cared for the patient when he came in to be prepared for a potential cadaveric transplant that did not materialize. The nurse turned out to be a perfect match for him.
