Julia Whitaker, MD

Utah Valley Pulmonary Clinic welcomes Dr. Julia Feliz Whitaker, whose expertise is board-certified in pulmonary medicine, internal medicine, critical care and sleep medicine.

Dr. Whitaker earned her medical degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. She then attended the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver to complete an internal medicine internship, residency and graduate program in clinical sciences. Dr. Whitaker also accomplished a specialized fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in Salt Lake City.

Prior to joining Utah Valley Pulmonary Clinic, Dr. Whitaker served as the Director of Critical Care Services at Davis Hospital, establishing protocols in mechanical ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia, stroke and sepsis. She also practiced at Ogden Pulmonary Associates, providing care in pulmonary medicine, critical care, and sleep medicine.

Dr. Whitaker is fluent in Spanish and English.
