Introducing Dr. Travis Hendry

Dr. Travis Hendry is an orthopedic surgeon currently practicing at Summit Orthopedics in Layton and Ogden, Utah.

Dr. Hendry earned his medical degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine, shoulder and elbow reconstruction, and arthroscopy at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia.

Dr. Hendry was a physician for the University of Richmond Spiders football team. His primary areas of interest are shoulder and knee advanced arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery. He has conducted research on the reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, flatfoot deformities, and ACL Reconstruction. He has also written academic book chapters on elbow arthritis and revision total elbow arthroplasty.

Outside of work, Dr. Hendry is very active in outdoor activities with his family. He and his wife have four active children. They enjoy being on the lake and in the mountains. Dr. Hendry is proficient in Portuguese with some proficiency in Spanish.
