Dr. Jack Wahlen 'Doctor of the Year'

​Congratulations to Jack D. Wahlen, MD, who was named 'Doctor of the Year' by the Weber County Medical Alliance and Weber County Medical Society.

Dr. Jack Wahlen practices endocrinology at McKay-Dee Endocrine & Diabetes Clinic, and he has spent nearly 40 years treating patients with diabetes and thyroid disease. Dr. Wahlen is dedicated to finding new treatments for diabetes and other diseases. He is currently involved in the evaluation of three new insulin projects.

Born and raised in Ogden, Dr. Wahlen graduated from Weber State University with a degree in chemistry. He received both his medical degree and his doctorate from the University of Utah. His resume includes pages of publications, honors, and research projects.

He and his wife Bonnie are the parents of three children and seven grandchildren.
