Ryan Porter, MD

Intermountain Healthcare would like to welcome Ryan Porter, MD to the Southridge OB/GYN clinic in Riverton, Utah. Dr. Porter recently completed a four year OB/GYN residency at the University of Arizona, where he was given the Pozner Award for developing a more accurate simulation to improve medical education.
Dr. Porter earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, and received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Utah. He spent two years as a teaching assistant in the U of U Chemistry Department and spent a few years working as a Laboratory Technologist at ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City. Dr. Porter is currently a junior fellow in the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
