John L. McCormick Jr., MD

Intermountain Healthcare is excited that rheumatologist John L. McCormick Jr., MD will be joining our team at the Southwest Rheumatology Associates in St. George, Utah.

Prior to joining Intermountain, Dr. McCormick was practicing in the rheumatology department at ABQ Health Partners in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Dr. McCormick earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he served as Class President, Student Body President, and later as Assistant Clinical Professor in rheumatology. He completed his residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, where he subsequently received a Rheumatology Fellowship.

Dr. McCormick is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with a subspecialty in rheumatology. He has more than 25 years of rheumatology experience, including 17 years in private practice.
