Kurt A. Hales, MD

Intermountain Healthcare is excited to welcome Kurt A. Hales, MD as he joins our team at Dixie Maternal Fetal Medicine in St George, Utah.

Dr. Hales spent the last 11 years dividing his time at the Covenant Maternal-Fetal Diagnostic Center, the Women’s and Children’s Hospital at the Covenant Medical Center, and the University Medical Center, all in Lubbock, Texas. In 2010, the Covenant Health System officially recognized Dr. Hales for exemplifying a commitment to excellence. For the last 10 years, he has also been serving as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Hales earned his medical degree from the University of Utah, where he made the Honors Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He then served his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and completed his Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Dr. Hales belongs to the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the Society of Perinatal Obstetricians. He is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
